Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible young, energetic, innovative, enthusiastic Indian citizens having excellent communication skills for the temporary positions of Senior Research Fellow in a project funded by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India tenable at Biotech Park, Lucknow. Interested candidates fulfilling the requisite qualification and experience below 28 years of age, as on the 30.06.09 may submit their application duly completed along with attested copies of certificates testimonials to the "Chief Executive Officer, Biotech Park, Sector-G, Jankipuram, Kursi Road, Lucknow-226021 U.P., India" on or before 30.06.09.
I Senior Research Fellow (Project No. I)
a) Qualification & Experience:
First class M.Sc. in Botany / Plant Science/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/Forestry with two years experience in Jatropha plantation and nurseries
  Desirable:
Experience in plantation, nursery or tree improvement
  Stipend :      
12000/-p.m. (Consolidated) + 15% HRA.
II Senior Research Fellow (Project No. II)
b) Qualification & Experience:
First class postgraduate in computer applications (MCA / ‘B’ level from DOEACC or equivalent) with two years experience in website programming, using open source technology.
  Desirable:
Experience in development and management of interactive website, data mining, coordination of programmes.
  Emolument:
14000/-p.m. (Consolidated) + 15% HRA.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. The minimum age limit for all the posts is 18 years and maximum age  not above 28 years (as on the last date of receipt of applications) Relaxation of age for SC/ST/ Woman /OBC/PH (deaf or partially deaf) Govt. /Semi Govt. institute shall be as per Govt. of India orders.
  2. Applications should be submitted neatly typed and duly signed with date on plain paper stating a) Advertisement No., b) Position Applied for, c) Name of Applicant (in Block Letters), d) Father’s Name, e) Date of Birth, f) Sex/(Male/Female, g) Age as on the last date of receipt of application (dd mm yy), h) Address (Permanent & Correspondence with Phone No., If any, I) Educational Qualification (High School onwards) detailing examination passed , year of passing division, % of marks, subject, j) Employment experience, if any i.e. Name of employer, nature of employment, date of joining & leaving.
  3. Hand written and application without signature will not be considered.
  4. Application must be accompanied by a latest passport size photograph and attested copies of certificates.
  5. Original certificates/degree and testimonials shall be produced by the candidate for verification at the time of test/interview.
  6. Application duly completed along with attested copies of certificates testimonials should reach the "Chief Executive Officer, Biotech Park, Sector-G Kursi Road Lucknow, U.P., India" on or before 30.06.09 with a declaration that "I hereby declare that the statement made above are true to the best of my knowledge and belief".

  8. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview.
  9. Those employed in Govt. Deptt./Autonomous Bodies should send their application through proper Channel.
  10. Relaxation of age limit, qualification and/or experience in  case of exceptionally meritorious candidate may be allowed with the prior approval of competent authority.
  11. Mere fulfillment of minimum prescribed qualifications and experience will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for test/ interview. The decision of the institute in this regard will be final.
  12. The positions are purely temporary on contract basis and co terminus with the project.
  13. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated disqualification for the post.
